At all stations not timed, trains will stop to pick up or set down passengers, but passengers requiring to alight must give notice to the guard at the previous station timed.

The railway department does not pledge itself to the dispatch or arrival of the trains at the exact times notified in the above table, and in the event of any circumstances arising, either during or prior to the journey being made, which may render it impossible or inexpedient for a train to proceed, will return the fares paid, but does not undertake to forward the passengers.

Tickets are issued on Saturdays at single fares available for the return journey up to Monday night.

All excess above that weight will be charged at excess luggage rates, viz., 1s. for every additional 56lbs. or fractional part thereof. All passengers having "excess luggage" must send it to the Booking Office fifteen minutes before the starting of the train, so as to give sufficient time to have it weighed and stowed. No luggage will be allowed to be taken into the carriages, unless of such a size that it can be placed under the seat without inconvenience to other passengers. Passengers are strongly recommended to have their names and the station to which they are proceeding distinctly marked on their luggage, and to satisfy themselves that it is placed on the trains.
