Township.—For Provincial Government purposes.

No. 1668 (in red).—Two roods, more or less, being sections Nos. 408 and 409, in the South Rakaia Township.—For Provincial Government purposes.

No. 1669 (in red).—One rood and twelve perches, more or less, being section No. 344, in the South Rakaia Township.—For Provincial Government purposes.

No. 1670 (in red).—Two roods, more or less, being sections Nos. 336 and 338, in the South Rakaia Township.—For Provincial Government purposes.

No. 1671 (in red).—One acre, more or less, being sections Nos. 320, 321, 322, and 323, in the South Rakaia Township.—For Provincial Government purposes.

No. 1672 (in red).—One rood and eleven perches, more or less, being section No. 303, in the South Rakaia Township.—For Provincial Government purposes.

No. 1673 (in red).—Three roods, four perches, more or less, being sections Nos. 290 and 294, in the South Rakaia Township.—For Provincial Government purposes.

No. 1674 (in red).—All that piece or parcel of land containing by admeasurement three acres and thirteen perches, more or less, situate in the South Rakaia Township, commencing at the junction of the northern side of the South Town Belt, with the western side of the main South Road, thence north-easterly along the said Town Belt, nine chains forty-four links, thence north-easterly at a right angle fifty-six links, thence easterly along Alford Forest road twelve chains ten links to the main South road aforesaid, and from thence returning along the same south-westerly six chains seven links, to the commencing point.—For Provincial Government purposes.

No. 1675 (in red).—All that tract of land a half mile wide, situate in the Ashley District, bounded on the southward by the road passing through section No. 4713, on the northward by the river Waipara, on the westward by a straight line drawn from the northernmost corner of section No. 7989 to the said river, on the southward by the aforesaid river, situate about 15 1/2 chains east of the road and Railway Reserve, and on the eastward by the North road, and also by a line parallel to the western boundary and forty chains distant therefrom. Save and except the land purchased and finally reserved to date.—For a railway.

No. 1680 (in red).—Ten acres, more or less, in the Waimakariri River-Bed, bounded on the southward by the Waimakariri, on the eastward by the road on the western side of section 5462, and on the southward by the river Waimakariri.—For public purposes.

No. 1681 (in red).—Five acres, more or less, situate in the Timaru district, commencing on the north-eastern side of the McKenzie Country Road, at a point 40 chains north-west of the first angle in the road south-east of the northernmost corner of section 18193; thence following the said road north-westerly a distance of 10 chains, and extending north-easterly in a rectangular block, a distance of 5 chains. For a gravel pit.

No. 1682 (in red).—Five acres, more or less, situate in the Timaru district, taking 10 chains frontage to the McKenzie Country Road, and extending north-easterly in a rectangular block, a distance of 5 chains, and situate one mile north-west of Reserve No. 1681.—For a gravel pit.

No. 1683 (in red).—Five acres, more or less, situate in the Timaru district, taking frontage to the McKenzie Country road, and extending north-easterly in a rectangular block, a distance of 5 chains, the north-west boundary to be about 32 chains south-east of section 20810.—For a gravel pit.

No. 1684 (in red).—Ten acres, more or less, situate in the Timaru district taking frontage to the McKenzie Country road, and extending north-easterly in a rectangular block a distance of 10 chains, the westernmost corner to be the southernmost corner of section 20518. NOTE. The land above described is within I.P.R.M. on run No. 416.—For a gravel pit.

No. 1685 (in red).—Five acres, more or less, situate in the Timaru district, taking frontage to the McKenzie Country road, and extending north-easterly in a rectangular block a distance of 5 chains, the north-west boundary to be about 69 chains south-east of Reserve No. 1684. NOTE. The land above described is partly within I.P.R.R. on run No. 416.—For a gravel pit.

No. 1689 (in red).—Two acres, and two roods, more or less, situate in the Town of Ashburton, taking 5 chains frontage on the north-east side of Cameron street, and extending north-easterly a distance of 5 chains in a rectangular block, being bounded on the south-east by the south-eastern Boulevard.—For Provincial Government purposes.

No. 1690 (in red).—One acre, and three roods, more or less, situate in the Town of Ashburton, taking 3 1/2 chains frontage on the north-east side of Cameron street, and extending back north-easterly a distance of 5 chains in a rectangular block, being bounded on the north-west by the north-west Boulevard.—For Provincial Government purposes.
