PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the owners and occupiers of land and householders in the Educational District of Harewood road, have failed within the time limited for that purpose by the Board of Education, to contribute and pay to the Provincial Treasurer the amount fixed by the Board as the contribution of the said district for School purposes:

Now, therefore, I, WILLIAM ROLLESTON, Superintendent of the Province of Canterbury, in pursuance of the powers vested in me, and by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, do hereby declare an uniform rate of one penny halfpenny in the Β£, to be leviable within the said district, under the provisions of the 42nd section of "The Education Ordinance, 1873," and I do hereby appoint

NICHOLAS ELLIS

as the person to whom the said rate shall be paid.

Given under my hand, at Christchurch, this 3rd day of July, One thousand eight hundred and seventy-four.

Now, therefore, I, WILLIAM ROLLESTON, Superintendent of the Province of Canterbury, in pursuance of the powers vested in me, and by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, do hereby declare an uniform rate of Twopence half-penny in the Β£, to be leviable within the said district, under the provisions of the 42nd section of "The Education Ordinance, 1873," and I do hereby appoint

FRANCIS WORCESTER STUBBS

as the person to whom the said rate shall be paid.

Given under my hand at Christchurch, this 1st day of July, One thousand eight hundred and seventy-four.

I, WILLIAM ROLLESTON, Superintendent of the Province of Canterbury, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in me by "The Canterbury Trespass of Cattle Ordinance, 1873," and in pursuance of a recommendation to that effect from the Provincial Council, do hereby with the advice and consent of my Executive Council,
