PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the householders in the
Educational District of Le Bon's
Bay failed to elect two auditors in the
manner provided by "The Education Ordi-
nance, 1873 :"

Now, therefore, I, WILLIAM ROLLESTON,
Superintendent of the Province of Canter-
bury, in pursuance of the powers vested in
me by the 30th section of the said Ordi-
nance, and by and with the advice and con-
sent of the Executive Council, do hereby
appoint

GEORGE CROTTY, and

  • RHODES

to be Auditors under the said Ordinance
for the said district.

Given under my hand, at Christchurch,
this 15th day of June, one thou-
sand eight hundred and seventy-
four.

PROCLAMATION.

I, WILLIAM ROLLESTON, Superin-
tendent of the Province of Canterbury,
in pursuance of the powers vested in
me under section 33 of "The Education
Ordinance, 1873," and by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council,
and on the recommendation of the Board of
Education, do hereby declare that no School
Committee exists in the Educational Dis-
trict of Pareora; and I hereby call a meet-
ing of householders in the Pareora Educa-
tional District, to be held at the school
building, on THURSDAY, the 2nd day of
July, next, at the hour of 7 p.m., for the
election of a Committee and Auditors for
the said district.

Given under my hand at Christchurch,
this 20th day of June, one thou-
sand eight hundred and seventy-
four.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Part-
nership hitherto existing between the
undersigned as Provision and Export Mer-
chants, under the Firm of THE NEW ZEA-
LAND PROVISION AND PRODUCE COMPANY,
has been dissolved by mutual consent, as
from the 6th day of June inst., in so far as
regards the said WILLIAM JOHN MCILROY.
All debts due to the late firm must be paid
to the continuing partners, and all liabilities
of the firm will be satisfied by them.

SALE OF TOWN AND RURAL
LANDS.

HIS Honor the Superintendent directs
it to be notified that he has fixed
TUESDAY, the 4th day of August, 1874, at
Eleven o'clock in the Forenoon, at a Sitting
of the Waste Lands Board, in the Land
Office, at Christchurch, as the time and place
when a Sale by Auction of Town and Rural
Land shall take place, in accordance with
Clause 24 and Clause 35 of the Waste Lands
Regulations, and Section 8 of "The Canter-
bury Waste Lands Act, 1873," subject to
the usual conditions of sale, and in con-
formity with the regulations for the disposal,
letting, and occupation of the Waste Lands
of the Crown now in force within the Pro-
vince of Canterbury.

Applications will be received by the
Waste Lands Board on and up to MON-
DAY, the 20th day of July, 1874.
