HIS Honor the Superintendent directs it to be notified that he has made the following Reserves, temporarily, under the 19th clause of the Waste Lands Regulations, viz :—

No. 1640, (in red.)—Five acres and thirty perches, more or less, situate in the Oxford district, bounded on the southward by the Oxford and Rangiora road; on the eastward by Reserve 360 (in red); on the westward by Section 9065; and on the northward by a line parallel to, and one chain distant from, the southern boundary, subject to a road 1 chain wide, crossing the above described land, part of I. P. Rs. W. R. on Run 223 Cl. 2, are included in the above description. For the Rangiora and Oxford Railway.

No. 1641, (in red.)—Forty acres, more or less, situate in the Waipara district, being a rectangular block of land 1155 links from east to west, and 3465 links from north to south, so as to include the site of the present quarry. The above described land is situate about 1½ miles south of the Waitohi river, and 40 chains east of the Great North Road. For a quarry.
