constituted or affected thereby shall be
deemed to be and shall be proclaimed as
provided in the said Ordinance as newly
constituted Educational District or Districts:

Now, therefore, I, WILLIAM ROLLESTON,
Superintendent of the said Province, in pur-
suance of the powers vested in me by the
27th section of the said before recited Ordi-
nance, and by and with the advice of the
Executive Council, do hereby alter the limits
of the Leeston Educational District, and I
do hereby proclaim the District, as specified
in the Schedule hereunto annexed, to be a
newly constituted Educational District within
the meaning of "The Education Ordinance,
1873."

LEESTON EDUCATIONAL DISTRICT.

Commencing where Birdling's Brook flows
into Lake Ellesmere, thence in a
northerly direction following the
water line of said lake to Hanmer's
Road; thence westerly in a straight
line along the said road to the north-
east corner of section 6045; thence
southerly along the eastern boundary
of said section and sections 5799,
6046, to the south-east corner of the
latter section; thence north-westerly
along the northern boundary of sec-
tions 5848, 5950, 5982, 8807, and
7717 to the north-east corner of
section 8432; thence westerly in a
straight line along the northern
boundary of the latter section, and
sections 9013, 9564, 11244, to the
north-west corner of latter section;

section to the Selwyn and Bealey's
Road; thence southerly by that road
to the Tramway Reserve; thence
north-westerly along the said Tram-
way Reserve to its junction with the
Tramway Reserve running southerly
and forming the western boundary of

line southerly by that tramway to
the southernmost corner of reserve
1216; thence north-easterly in a
straight line along the Taumutu and
Bridge's Road to the north-west cor-
ner of Reserve 915; thence along
the northern boundary of the Lake-
side Educational District to the
starting point.
