NAME OF DISTRICT. BOUNDARIES.
Pleasant Valley Educational Districtβ€”Contd. section; thence southerly along the western boundary of the said section to the north-east corner of section 14523; thence westerly along the northern boundary of said section to its north-west corner; thence westerly in a straight line to the north-west corner of section 6106; thence westerly in a straight line to the north-east corner of section 8774; thence southerly along the eastern boundary of said section to its south-east corner; thence in a straight line to the starting point.

Given under my hand, at Christchurch, this 6th day of March, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-four.

PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by an ordinance of the Superintendent and Provincial Council of the Province of Canterbury, intituled "The Education Ordinance, 1873," it is among other things provided that it shall be lawful for the Superintendent to alter boundaries of any Educational District, and to divide any Educational District into two or more Districts or parts of Districts, or to combine two or more Districts or parts of Districts into one, or to add portions of any District to any adjoining District, or to add any locality not being or forming part of a District to an Educational District, and in every such case the District or Districts constituted or affected thereby shall be deemed to be, and shall be proclaimed as provided in the said Ordinance, as newly constituted Educational District or Districts

Now, therefore, I, WILLIAM ROLLESTON, Superintendent of the said Province, in pursuance of the powers vested in me, and by and with the advice of the Executive Council, do hereby alter the boundaries of the Geraldine Educational District, and I do hereby proclaim the said District as specified in the Schedule hereunto annexed, a newly constituted District within the meaning and under the provisions of Section 27 of "The Education Ordinance 1873":β€”

NAME OF DISTRICT. BOUNDARIES.
Geraldine Educational District Commencing at the south-eastern corner of section 5233 following the road forming the eastern boundary thereof in a northerly direction to the north-east corner of the said section; thence along the said road to the north-western boundary of section 12262; thence north-easterly following the north-west boundary line of sections 12262 and 11852 to the northern corner of the latter section; thence following in a straight line to the north-west corner of section 11567; thence following another straight line through the northern corner of section 15531 to the river Orari; thence south-easterly
