No. 1607 (in red).—Five acres, more or less, situate in the Ashburton District, having 5 chains frontage to the continuation of the road forming the north-east boundary of Section 15229, and extending back south-westerly 10 chains in a rectangular block. The easternmost corner of this reserve is situate about 30 chains north-west of the fence passing north-west of and next to trig. station No. 36.—For a gravel pit.
No. 1608 (in red).—Five acres, more or less, situate in the Ashburton District, having 5 chains frontage to the road forming the north-east boundary of Section 15229, and extending back south-westerly 10 chains, in a rectangular block. The northernmost corner of this reserve is situate about 92 chains south-east of the fence passing north-west of and next to trig. station No. 36.—For a gravel pit.
No. 1609 (in red).—Six acres, more or less, situate in the Ashburton District, bounded on the north-eastward by the road forming the north-east boundary of Section 15229, and also by the road passing through I. P. R. F. on Run 126; on the south-eastward by a line at right angles to first-mentioned road, drawn from a point 50 links south-eastward of the intersection of said roads; and on the south-westward by a line parallel to and 10 chains distant from the road forming the north-east boundary of Section 15229.—For a gravel pit.
No. 1610 (in red).—Five acres, more or less, situate in the Ashburton District, bounded on the north-eastward by the road forming the north-east boundary of Section 15229; on the south-westward by the Tramway Reserve; on the north-westward and south-eastward by lines at right angles to said road, so as to include the required quantity. The south-east corner of this reserve is situate about 23 chains north-west of the intersection of the before-mentioned road by the road forming the north-west boundary of Section 14635.—For a gravel pit.
No. 1611 (in red).—Five acres, more or less, situate in the Ashburton District, having 5 chains frontage to the road forming the north-east boundary of Reserve 1411 (in red), and extending back south-westerly 10 chains, in a rectangular block. The northernmost corner of this reserve is situate about 13 chains south-east of the fence passing through I. P. R.’s Q, P, and O, on Run 126.—For a gravel pit.
No. 1612 (in red).—Five acres, more or less, situate in the Oxford District, bounded on the south-west by the Eyre Road North; on the south-east by Section 10038; and on the north-west by a line at right angles to the above-mentioned road, to include the required quantity.—For a gravel pit.
No. 1613 (in red).—Two acres, more or less, situate in the Town of Ashburton, having frontage of 4 chains to the Town Belt North, and extending south-westerly a distance of 5 chains, in a rectangular block, being bounded on the south-eastward by Cass Street.—For a gravel pit.
No. 1614 (in red).—Ten acres, more or less, situate in the Waitangi District, having a frontage of 8 chains 34 links to the western side of the main South Road, and extending westerly a distance of 12 chains, in a rectangular block, south of and adjoining Section 9656.—For a gravel pit.
No. 1615 (in red).—Five acres, more or less, situate in Port Levy, Banks’ Peninsula, bounded on the northward by Section 667, and the road running through the same; on the eastward by the road forming the north-west boundary of Section 93, and also by Section 667; and on the south-west by a line at right angles to the last-mentioned road, so as to contain the above quantity.—For a metal reserve.
No. 1616 (in red).—Sixty-six acres, more or less, situate in the Christchurch District, bounded on the westward by Reserve 1579 (in red); on the northward by Section 16013; on the eastward by Section 15835, also by the road reserved along H. W. M., and on the southward by Sections 15835 and 16238.—For a recreation ground.
No. 1617 (in red).—One hundred and thirty-six acres, more or less, situate in the Christchurch District, bounded on the eastward by the road one chain wide reserved along the western bank of the Waimakariri; on the northward by Sections 10185 and 7086; on the westward by Reserve 1579 (in red); and on the southward by a line parallel to and 35 chains distant from the road forming the southern boundary of Section 16753, subject to the road forming the southern boundary of Section 16753. A portion of I. P. R. A. on Run 239 is included in the above description.—For a recreation ground.
