No. 2, or Lake Ward.
Commencing on Taumutu and Bridge’s Road at south corner of Native Reserve No. 806, and following the south side of same road in a north-westerly direction to its junction with Fereday’s Road; thence along west side of Fereday’s Road in an easterly direction to its junction with the Ellesmere and Lincoln Road; thence along the west side of the latter named road to its junction with Hanmer’s Road; thence down the south side of this road to margin of Lake Ellesmere; and thence following margin of Lake Ellesmere to commencing point.
No. 5, or Killinchy Ward.
Commencing at the intersecting point of Fereday’s Road with Selwyn and Bealey’s Road; thence along north-east side of the latter named road to its junction with Great Southern Railway; thence up west side of line of Great Southern Railway to south bank of River Selwyn; thence down south bank of River Selwyn to its junction with Selwyn and Rakaia Road; thence following west side of said road in a westerly direction to its junction with Boundary Creek Road; thence along the west side of the latter named road to its junction with Hanmer’s Road at north-west corner of section No. 7098; thence along south-west side of Hanmer’s Road to intersecting point of said road with Ellesmere and Lincoln Road; and thence following west side of Ellesmere and Lincoln Road and Fereday’s Road in a westerly direction to commencing point.
No. 3, or Coast Ward.
Commencing on Taumutu and Bridge’s Road at the south corner of Native Reserve No. 806, and following the south side of said road in a north-westerly direction to its junction with Fereday’s Road; thence along the west side of Fereday’s Road in a south-westerly direction to its junction with North Rakaia Road; thence along the eastern boundary of Oakley’s H.P.R. to the River Rakaia; thence down Rakaia to its mouth at sea coast; and thence following the sea beach to commencing point.
No. 4, or Rakaia Ward.
Commencing on north bank of River Rakaia at the south-east corner of Fereday’s H.P.R.; thence following north bank of said river to its junction with Great South Road; thence along west side of Great South Road to the south bank of River Selwyn; thence down south bank of said river to Great Southern Railway; thence following west side of railway to intersecting point of Selwyn and Bealey’s Road with line of said railway; thence following north-east side of Selwyn and Bealey’s Road to its junction with Fereday’s Road; and thence along west side of Fereday’s Road to commencing point.
