No. 1365 (in red).—Five acres (more or less), situate in the Timaru District, bounded on the south-westward by the McKenzie Country Road; on the southward by the road forming the northern boundary of section 14088; on the northward by a line 5 chains distant from and parallel to the southern boundary; and on the eastward by a line at right angles to the southern boundary, to include the required quantity.
No. 1366 (in red).—Five acres (more or less), situate in the Timaru District, having 5 chains frontage on the road forming the south-western boundary of section 9803, and extending south-westerly 10 chains in a rectangular block, the northernmost corner to be about 41 chains south-east of the southernmost corner of 9803.
No. 1367 (in red).—Five acres (more or less), situate in the Timaru District, bounded on the eastward by the road north-east of section 6817; on the southward by the road north of 15146; on the westward by a line 5 chains distant from and parallel to the eastern boundary; and on the northward by a line at right angles to the eastern boundary, to include the required quantity.
No. 1368 (in red).—Five acres (more or less), situate in the Timaru District, having 5 and 10 chains frontage (as found desirable on survey), on the road north-east of section 15149, and extending south-westerly in a rectangular block south-east of and adjoining that section.
No. 1369 (in red).—Ten acres (more or less), situate in the Ashley District, having 10 chains frontage on the road north of 9528, and extending northerly 10 chains in a rectangular block, the south-east corner to be 25 chains west of the junction of the above-mentioned road with the North Road.

PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by an Ordinance of the Superintendent and Provincial Council of the Province of Canterbury, intituled “The Education Ordinance, 1871,” it is amongst other things enacted that whenever the Board of Education shall call by advertisement a public meeting of householders in any district, and such meeting shall declare by the votes of the majority of the persons present (being such householders as aforesaid), that they are willing that the said district be formed into an Educational District under the provisions of the said Ordinance, and shall declare their willingness to provide the proportion of the annual expenses of an Educational District as provided in the said Ordinance:
And whereas at a meeting duly called as aforesaid, the householders in the district specified in the Schedule hereunto annexed did, by the votes of the majority there present, declare that they were willing that the said district should be formed into an Educational District, and did further declare their willingness to provide the proportion of the annual expenses of an Educational District as provided in the said Ordinance:
Now, therefore, I, Richard James Strachan Harman, Deputy-Superintendent of the said Province, in pursuance of all powers vested in me in that behalf, do hereby proclaim that the district specified in the Schedule hereunto annexed shall be an Educational District within the meaning of the said Ordinance.
