PUBLIC NOTICE.

I, WILLIAM ROLLESTON, Superintendent of the Province of Canterbury, in pursuance of a requisition from the Ratepayers of the Mount Cook Road Board District, do hereby fix Thursday, the 18th instant, at 12 o’clock, noon, at Mr. Ensor’s House, Burke’s Pass, as the time and place at which a Meeting shall be held for the purpose of electing two Ratepayers of the District to be Members of the Timaru and Gladstone Board of Works.

PUBLIC NOTICE.

HIS Honor the Superintendent directs it to be notified that a Public Pound will be established at the yard erected by the Little River Road Board on the Railway Reserve at Little River, from and after Saturday, the 27th January, 1872.

PROCLAMATION

By His Honor WILLIAM ROLLESTON, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Canterbury, altering the boundaries of the Halswell, Cust, and Lower Heathcote Educational Districts.

WHEREAS by an Ordinance of the Superintendent and Provincial Council of the Province of Canterbury, intituled “The Education Ordinance, 1871,” it is among other things provided that it shall be lawful for the Superintendent of the Province of Canterbury, for the time Vol. XIX., No. 3.
