PROCLAMATION.
WILLIAM ROLLESTON, Superintendent of the Province of Canterbury, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in me under the 89th clause of "The Education Ordinance, 1871," and upon the recommendation of the Board of Education, do hereby proclaim and declare that the districts described in the Schedule hereto shall be Educational Districts under the provisions of the said Ordinance.
Given at Christchurch, this sixth day of April, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-two.

EAST OXFORD DISTRICT.
Commencing at a point at the western corner of section 12,705; thence in a straight line by the northern boundary of that section until it meets section 10,836; then easterly by the creek commonly called Wooded Gully to the Main Drain Road, and by that road to section 6037; thence by the northern boundary of that section to the Carlton Road; thence southerly by that road to the River Eyre; thence west by a straight line to Trig. pole No. 24; thence by a straight line passing the western boundary of section 1955, where it meets the south-western boundary of section 1751; thence north-westerly by the Harewood Road to the western corner of section 131; thence by the northern boundaries of the two last-named sections to the south-western corner of section 1839; thence northerly along the road by that section to the starting point.
WEST OXFORD DISTRICT.
Commencing at the western corner of section 12,705; thence westerly in a straight line to Trig. pole No. 30; thence south-westerly in a straight line to Trig. pole No. 25; thence easterly to Trig. pole No. 24; thence northerly by the boundaries of the East Oxford District to the starting point.
