PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by an Act of the General Assembly of New Zealand, passed in the twenty-second year of the reign of Her Majesty Queen Victoria, intituled "The Provincial Reserved Bills Act, 1858," it was enacted that whenever any Bill shall have been passed by the Provincial Council of any Province, and shall have been reserved by the Superintendent for the signification of the Governor's pleasure thereon, such Bill shall not have any force or authority within the said Province until the Superintendent shall signify either by speech or message to the Provincial Council, or by Proclamation in the Government Gazette of the said Province that such Bill has been laid before the Governor, and that the Governor has assented to the same.
And whereas a Bill intituled "Section No. 7 Town of Kaiapoi Ordinance," was passed by the Superintendent and Provincial Council of the Province of Canterbury, and the same was reserved by the Superintendent of the said Province for the assent of his Excellency the Governor.
Now, therefore, I, William Rolleston, Superintendent of the Province of Canterbury aforesaid, do hereby proclaim and declare that the aforesaid Bill has been laid before his Excellency the Governor, and that his Excellency has assented to the same.

NOTICE is hereby given that H. P. Murray-Aynsley, Esq., has given notice to the Provincial Secretary, in terms of clause 6 of "The Cattle Driving Ordinance, 1863," intimating his desire that the undermentioned Runs shall be under the provisions of the said Ordinance:
Nos. 115 and 148, Mount Hutt Station, Rakaia Gorge.
