PURSUANT to the provisions of “The Auctioneers’ Ordinance, Session III., No. 3,” I hereby give notice that the undermentioned person has taken out an Auctioneer’s License for the term ending the 30th June, 1872:

HIS Honor the Superintendent directs it to be notified that a writ for an election to be held for the return of a Member to serve in the Provincial Council for the District of Geraldine has been returned to him, with the indorsement that

has been duly elected.

I, WILLIAM ROLLESTON, Superintendent of the Province of Canterbury, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in me by “The Cemetery Reserves Management Ordinance, 1870,” and with the advice of the Executive Council, do hereby appoint the undermentioned persons to be Managers of the Burke’s Pass Cemetery, situate on Reserve No. 1284 (in red), on the map of the Chief Surveyor of the said Province:

JOSEPH BERNARD WAREING,
GEORGE JAMES DENNISTOUN.

Given at Christchurch, this first day of December, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-one.
