of the Prebbleton district to the
western boundary of the Halswell
district, following southerly along the
last mentioned boundary to the road
forming the southern boundary of section 5322, thence by a straight line
drawn from the south-western corner
of section 1106, to the source of the
stream forming the eastern boundary
of section 1882, thence following the
said stream to the River Halswell,
following down the said river to the
south-eastern corner of sections 4711
and 4821, following westerly and
northerly along the southern and
western boundaries of those sections,
and a line in continuation of the last
mentioned boundary to the north-eastern corner of section 5747, following
westerly along the northern boundary line of that section and of sections
5841, 6072, 6134, 6238, and 6878,
thence following a straight line to the
south-eastern corner of section 6306,
following westerly the southern
boundary of that section and a line in
continuation of the same to the
Springs road, following northerly
along that road to the north-east
corner of section 2951, following
westerly along the northern boundary
thereof to the Weeden and Springs
road, following north-westerly along
that road to its junction with Shand’s
road before mentioned, and from
thence returning along that road to
the starting point.
Loburn District.
Bounded on the north by a line drawn
from the north-east corner of section
10706 to the north-east corner of
section 9015, and thence in a
straight line to the Grey River; on
the west by the Grey River to its
junction with the Okuku river, and
by the latter river to its junction
with the Ashley river; on the south
by the Ashley river to its junction
with the Makerikeri river; and on
the east following northwards up the
western boundary of the Ashley
Bank District, and easterly along its
northern boundary to Trig. Pole 3A,
and from thence in a straight line to
the starting point.
Lower Heathcote District.
Commencing at Wilson’s Bridge on the
River Heathcote, following down that
river to the bridge at the Ferry;
thence following the estuary of that
river to the north-eastern corner of
section 15; thence along the north-eastern boundary of that section and
of sections 27, 28, 34, 39, 42, 131,
103, 101, 99, 88, and 84; thence
southerly following the road on the
north-west side of the last-mentioned
section to the north-eastern corner of
