PUBLIC NOTICE.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in pursuance of the Public House Ordinance Session 24, No. 17, 1866, and of the Public House Ordinance Amendment Ordinance, Session 27, No. 7, 1867, the QUARTERLY MEETING OF JUSTICES OF THE PEACE in and for the Province of Canterbury, will be held in the Resident Magistrates’ Courts, Christchurch, Lyttelton, Kaiapoi, Timaru, and Akaroa, on TUESDAY, the Fifth Day of September next, at the hour of Eleven in the Forenoon, for the purpose of considering the Following Applications for Public House Licenses:—
