HIS Honor the Superintendent directs it to be notified that he has been pleased to appoint

THOMAS WILLIAM MAUDE, Esq.,
to be a Commissioner of the Waste Lands Board.

HIS Honor the Superintendent directs it to be notified that he has made the following Reserves, temporarily, under the 19th Clause of “The Waste Lands Regulations,” viz.:

No. 1315 (in red).—Twenty acres (more or less), situate in the Malvern District at the foot of Porter’s Pass, having a frontage of ten chains to the West Coast Road, and extending in a northerly direction a distance of twenty chains in a rectangular block, so as to include the huts used by the road party.—For the uses of the party engaged in the repair of the West Coast Road.

No. 1316 (in red).—All that tract of land three chains wide, the centre line of which commences on the southern bank of the river Waihao, about twenty-seven chains south-west
