PUBLIC NOTICE.

It is hereby notified that the Crown Lands included in those Pasturage Runs which were not renewed by payment of required rent, and were declared forfeited and submitted to Public Auction on the 4th August last, but which were not then disposed of, are now open to be taken up for pasturage purposes as Waste Lands of the Crown, in accordance with clause 49 of the Land Regulations.

His Honor the Superintendent directs it to be notified that he has made the following Reserves, temporarily, under the 19th clause of the Waste Lands Regulations, for uses of the Provincial Government, and for other public purposes, and particularly for Police Stations, viz.:

No. 1256 (in red).—Five acres, more or less, situate in the Waipara District; having frontage to the southern high bank of the river Hurunui, and extending southerly a distance on the average of ten chains east of and adjoining section No. 12334.

No. 1257 (in red).—Five acres, more or less, situate in the Ashley District, on the southern high bank of the Vol. XVII., No. 47.
