No. 1157, in red.—One hundred and eighty-six acres, more or less, situate in the Linwood district, bounded on the north-westward by the road southeast of the Reserve for the South Railway; on the south-westward by section 12663; on the south-eastward by the road parallel to and forty chains distant from the north-west boundary; and on the north-eastward by a line at right angles to the last-described boundary, so as to contain in red the above quantity.—As an endowment for Orphan Asylum.

No. 1158, in red.—Fifty acres, more or less, situate in the Linwood district, bounded on the north-westward by the road south-east of the Reserve for the South Railway, for a distance of twelve chains fifty links, thence in a south-easterly direction forming a forty chain square, rectangular block, being bounded on the north-east by sections 12789 and on the south-west by reserve No. 1157.—As an endowment for a Hospital.

No. 1159, in red.—Eighty-three acres, more or less, situate in the Linwood district; bounded on the north-westward by the road forming the south-westward boundary of section 12782; on the north-eastward by the road on the north-east side of the Reserve north of the Southern Railway; on the south-eastward by a line at right angles to the last-mentioned road, about two hundred links south down from a point thereon being about two chains seventy links east of the easternmost corner of the aforesaid section 12782; and on the south-westward by a line parallel to the north-eastern boundary so as to contain the above quantity.—As an endowment for the benefit of the Infectious Diseases Hospital.

No. 1160, in red.—Two hundred and forty acres, more or less, situate in the Lincoln District, bounded on the north-westward by a road; on the south-westward by reserve No. 1159; on the south-eastward by the road along the north-west side of the reserve for the South Railway; and on the north-eastward by the road forming the north-west boundary of section 13226 exclusive of the latter section.—As an endowment for the benefit of the Old Men’s Home.

No. 1161, in red.—Thirty-three acres, more or less, situate in the Christchurch District, bounded on the north-westward by the reserve for the Infectious Diseases Hospital; on the north-eastward by a road; on the south-eastward by the road along the north-east side of the said Hospital; on the south-westward by section 6640.—For Educational purposes.

No. 1162, in red.—Four hundred acres, more or less, situate in the Malvern District, bounded on the south-eastward by sections 11583, 11629, 11136, 11129, 11234, and 12038; on the southward and westward by the road leading to the Dry Bush Valley; on the north-westward by the road on the southern side of section 12744 by straight lines drawn through the eastmost corner of the latter section; and butted and bounded on the northward by another line parallel to the north-west boundary four to 34 chains distant therefrom and about sixteen and a half chains distant therefrom.

No. 1163, in red.—Twenty-one acres, more or less, situate in the Christchurch District, bounded on the south-eastward by the road forming the north-western boundary of section 10255; on the north-westward by section 10291; and on the north-eastward by the road on the north-east side of the latter section.—As an endowment for a Lunatic Asylum.

No. 1164, in red.—Thirty-four acres, more or less, situate in the Christchurch District, bounded on the north-eastward by section 7110; on the north-westward by section 10282; on the south-eastward by 12398; and on the south-westward by the road forming the south-west boundary of the last-mentioned section.—For Educational purposes.

No. 1165, in red.—Four hundred acres, more or less, situate in the Malvern District, bounded on the south-eastward by sections 11583, 11629, 11136, 11234, and 12038; on the southward and westward by the road leading to the Dry Bush Valley; on the north-westward by the road forming the southern boundary of section 12744, by straight lines through the eastmost corner of the latter section; and butted and bounded on the northward by another line parallel to the north-west boundary at a distance of about sixteen chains therefrom.

No. 1166, in red.—Two hundred acres, more or less, in the Malvern District, bounded on the northward by the road leading to the Dry Bush Valley; on the southward by the high bank of the River Hororata; on the eastward by section 10417; and on the westward by a line parallel to the eastern boundary of section 11084 so as to contain the above quantity, subject to roads.—For Educational purposes.
