Applying to the respective amounts the correction due to this difference, the receipts for the calendar month of May 1869 become £343 15s. 1d. and £1348 0s. 2d., and the excess of receipts over May 1868 -- Lyttelton and Christchurch Line, £101 9s. 6d., and Great South Line, £145 12s. 1d.
