HIS Honor the Superintendent directs it to be notified that he has made the following Reserves temporarily, under the 19th Clause of the Waste Lands Regulations, for Educational purposes, viz:—
No. 929, in red—Four hundred acres (more or less), situate in the Ashburton District, bounded on the north-west by the reserve for the southern line of railway; on the south-east by I.P.R.s C.1 and D.1 on run 547; on the south-westward by the road forming the north-eastern boundary of Section 4392; and on the north-eastward by a line at right angles to the first described boundary, so as to contain the above quantity.—Subject to a road.
No. 930, in red.—Seven hundred and thirty-five acres (more or less), situate in the Ashburton District, bounded on the south-eastward by the road forming the north-western boundary of Section 8419; on the eastward by the road passing through that section; on the south-westward by improvement pre-emptive rights Q. and R. on run 247; on the westward by the road running through Section 6481; and on the northward by a line at right angles to the latter road, so as to meet the first bend in the aforesaid road, passing through Section 8419, situate north of Trigonometrical Station 62a.
