PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by a Proclamation, dated the Twenty-fourth day of October, One thousand eight hundred and sixty-seven, the Superintendent of the Province of Canterbury did prorogue the Provincial Council of the said Province till the Third day of January, One thousand eight hundred and sixty-eight, and the said Provincial Council did stand prorogued accordingly:
Now, therefore, I, William Sefton Moorhouse, Superintendent of the Province aforesaid, in pursuance of the powers vested in me in that behalf, do hereby further prorogue the said Provincial Council until Friday, the Fourteenth day of February, One thousand eight hundred and sixty-eight, on which day I do hereby summon the said Provincial Council to meet, for the despatch of business, at two o’clock in the afternoon, at the Council Chamber, Christchurch.
Given under my hand, at Christchurch, this Twentieth day of December, One thousand eight hundred and sixty-seven.

PROCLAMATION
By His Honor William Sefton Moorhouse, Esq., Superintendent of the Province of Canterbury, altering the boundaries of the Rangiora Educational District.
WHEREAS by an Ordinance enacted by the Superintendent and Provincial Council of Canterbury, entitled “The Education Ordinance Amendment Ordinance, 1865,” it is amongst other things provided that it shall be lawful for the Superintendent of the Province of Canterbury for the time being, from time to time to change or alter the boundaries of any and every Educational District proclaimed under the authority of “The Education Ordinance, 1864”:
And whereas on the Twenty-ninth day of October, One thousand eight hundred and sixty-four, the Rangiora Educational District was proclaimed under the authority of the said Ordinance, the boundaries of which district were altered by Proclamation, dated the Thirteenth day of January, One thousand eight hundred and sixty-six: And whereas it is desirable to further alter the boundaries of the said district:
Now, therefore, I, William Sefton Moorhouse, Superintendent of the Province aforesaid, in pursuance of the powers so vested in me, do hereby proclaim that the boundaries of the Rangiora Educational District shall be as follows:—
