No. 702, in red.—Nine hundred and thirty acres, more or less, situate in the Christchurch District, being the old river-bed, bounded on the east by the road west of section No. 3201, on the west by Reserve in red No. 328, and Bealey road, and on the northward by the high bank of the old river-bed forming the southern boundary line of sections 2919, 2603, 2552, 2842, 2348, on the southward by the high bank forming the northern boundary of sections Nos. 6099, 4911, 4910, 4842, 4634, 4069, and 2861; subject nevertheless to Reserves Nos. 325 and 326 (in red) and to section 8005.—For a rifle range.

No. 740, in red.—All that tract of land, two and a half chains wide, the centre line of which commences at a point marked A on the map of the Chief Surveyor of the Province of Canterbury, setting out and describing the rural land in the Timaru district, and situated on the northern bank of the river Pareora, about thirty-five chains in a northerly direction from the confluence of a small stream with the said river; thence following the centre line before mentioned, as indicated by a red line on the map above referred to, until it meets the road forming the south-west boundary of section 8299, at a point being about forty chains south-east of the south-western corner of that section, subject nevertheless to the freehold land purchased to date through which the reserve above described may pass.—For a water-race for the purpose of supplying the inhabitants of Timaru with water from the river Pareora.

No. 782, in red.—All that tract of land, being thirty-three feet in width on either side of the line of telegraph poles, and extending from the western boundary of section No. 8487 on the Kowai to the top of Arthurs Pass, subject nevertheless to freehold land and to reserves previously made.—For provincial telegraph purposes.

No. 783, in red.—All that tract of land, being thirty-three feet in width on either side of the line of telegraph poles, and extending from the top of Arthurs Pass to the Town of Hokitika, subject nevertheless to freehold land and to reserves previously made.—For provincial telegraph purposes.

No. 807, in red.—Two hundred acres, more or less, bounded on the north by the road forming the northern boundary of sections Nos. 4538 and 4539, and a line in continuation of the southern boundary; on the east by the road reserved along high-water mark; on the south by the northern boundary of sections 10,695 and 10,929, and a line extending eastward and westward in continuation of that boundary; and on the west by the aforesaid section No. 4589, for a distance of about twenty-three chains.—For a rifle range.
