PUBLIC NOTICE.

I HEREBY GIVE NOTICE, pursuant
to Clause 6 of "The Canterbury Waste Lands Act, 1866," that on the Sixth instant an application was lodged in the Land Office, Christchurch, by "The Trust and Agency Company of Australasia Limited," to have issued by the Waste Lands Board in substitution of the original License of pasturage run No. 450, Class III, now held by the said Company, a separate License to the said "Trust and Agency Company of Australasia Limited," of that portion of run No. 450, Class III, lying to the northward of a fence running from the River Hook in an easterly direction along the southern boundary of section 655A, and a line continued in the same direction to the sea: and a separate License to Messrs John Studholme and Michael Studholme of that portion of the aforesaid pasturage run lying to the southward of the fence and line above described.

If any person can show cause why such separate Licenses as aforesaid should not be issued, the same must be made known to the Waste Lands Board on or before the 5th day of August, 1867.

In the matter of the "Debtors and Creditors Act 1862" (section 8.)

HIS Honor Christopher William Richmond, Esq., the Judge presiding in this Honorable Court, has appointed that the Court shall sit for the despatch of business accruing under the provisions of the above mentioned Act, at the Court House, Hokitika, on Monday the Twenty-third day of September next, at eleven o’clock in the forenoon.
