In the matter of the estate of John Parker heretofore of Akaroa in the Province of Canterbury Storekeeper afterwards of Christchurch in the Province aforesaid Hotel Keeper and now of Christchurch aforesaid out of business a debtor.
NOTICE is hereby given that by a vesting order of the Supreme Court dated the Fourteenth day of May 1867 the estate and effects of the said John Parker were sequestrated and Frederic Henry Melville Walker of Christchurch aforesaid Accountant was appointed Receiver and that Monday the Twenty-fourth day of June next was appointed for the hearing of the petition in this matter and proof of debts at the Court House Christchurch aforesaid at eleven o’clock in the forenoon.

NOTICE is hereby given that pursuant to several orders of the Court under the above named Acts the estates and effects of the undermentioned debtors have been sequestrated and vested in the Receivers hereunder named and the Twenty-fourth day of June next appointed for the hearing of the said debtors’ petitions and for the proofs of debts and claims at the Court House Christchurch at eleven o’clock in the forenoon:—
Robert Warner, late of the Provincial Hotel, Cashel Street, Christchurch, Licensed Victualler.—James Edwin Graham, of Christchurch, Inspector in Bankruptcy, Receiver.
James Travis, of the Masons’ Arms, Waltham, near Wilson’s Bridge, Refreshment-house Keeper and Stone Mason.—James Edwin Graham, of Christchurch, Inspector in Bankruptcy, Receiver.
Christopher Dearing, of the Shearers’ Arms, Windmill Road, Christchurch, Licensed Victualler.—Frederic Henry Melville Walker, of Christchurch, Accountant, Receiver.
Joseph Brunt, of the Junction Hotel, Papanui Road, Christchurch, Licensed Victualler, and licensee of the British Crown, Oxford Terrace, Christchurch.—Frederic Henry Melville Walker, of Christchurch, Accountant, Receiver.
Also by an order of the said Court the hearing of the petition of John Powell,
Saltwater Creek, Carter and Labourer, a debtor, is also fixed for the said Twenty-fourth day of June, and the person and estate of the said debtor is protected from all legal process for debt until further orders.
By a recent decision of His Honor Mr Justice Gresson all creditors are now required to prove their debts or claims by affidavit, otherwise they will be excluded from all benefit under the sequestrated estates.

and
In the matter of the petition of the said debtors.
TAKE NOTICE that the Court hath appointed Monday the Twenty-fourth day of June next at eleven o’clock in the forenoon at the Court House in the City of Christchurch for the hearing of the said petition and the proof of debts and claims of creditors.
