PROCLAMATION.

I, WILLIAM SEFTON MOORHOUSE, Superintendent of the Province of Canterbury, in pursuance of the powers delegated to me under the provisions of “The Gold Fields Act, 1866,” do hereby notify that the Bridge lately erected across the Little Totara River, situate on the West Coast of Canterbury, is open for public traffic, and that tolls may be levied by Mr. Alfred Blanchard for the period of fifteen months from the date hereof, at rates not exceeding the undermentioned sums :-

For every foot passenger ... 0 6
For every horse with or without rider or pack ... 1 0
For every head of cattle ... 0 6
For every head of sheep, pigs or goats ... 0 1
For every vehicle drawn by one horse ... 2 0
For every extra horse in any vehicle ... 0 6

Given under my hand at Christchurch, this Eighteenth day of May, One thousand eight hundred and sixty-seven.

Brighton, May 4, 1867.

THE Partnership hitherto existing between RALPH EDMINSON, GEORGE SHEPHERD, and FREDERICK WESTON, as Butchers and Slaughtermen at Ross Town and Brighton, has this day been dissolved by mutual consent.

All debts owing to the late firm to be paid to Ralph Edminson, who will receive and pay all accounts to this date.

I, the undersigned JAMES MOYE, hereby make application to register “The Alexandra Gold Mining Company, Donoghues, registered,” under the provisions of “The Mining Companys’ Limited Liability Act, 1865;” and I do solemnly and sincerely declare that the following statement is, to the best of my belief and knowledge, true in every particular; namely,—

  1. The name and style of the Company is “The Alexandra Gold Mining Company, Donoghues, registered.”

  2. The place of operations is at Donoghues, district of Totara, Westland.

  3. The nominal capital of the Company is four thousand five hundred pounds, in nine hundred shares of five pounds each.
