Declarations

(a) DECLARATION.—I, Thomas Stevenson, of Auckland, do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, 130 in number, marked — on board of the vessel "Taranaki," Francis, Commander, now lying at Lyttelton, in the said Province, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.

Declared before me at Lyttelton, this 4th day of April, 1867.—WILLIAM PALFREY, Inspector of Sheep.

(b) DECLARATION.—I, W. N. Macbeth, of Christchurch, do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, two in number, marked — on board of the vessel "Gazelle," McLellan, Commander, now lying at Lyttelton, in the said Province, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.

(c) DECLARATION.—I, Charles Reed, of Westerfield, Ashburton, do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, 19 in number, marked — on board of the vessel "Canute," James Quin, Commander, now lying at Lyttelton, in the said Province, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.

(d) DECLARATION.—I, Henry Barnes Gresson, of Christchurch, do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, 12 in number, marked — on board of the vessel "Wellington," Renner, Commander, now lying at Lyttelton, in the said Province, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.

(e) DECLARATION.—I, J. F. Hindley, as Agent for Webster, Brothers, of Taranaki, do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, two in number, marked — on board of the vessel "Wellington," Renner, Commander, now lying at Lyttelton, in the said Province, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.

(f) DECLARATION.—I, Joseph L. Vercoe, of Auckland, do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, 256 in number, marked — on board of the vessel "Beautiful Star," Morwech, Commander, now lying at Lyttelton, in the said Province, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.
