(a) DECLARATION.—I, Frederick Williams, for J. White, Esq., Commander of ship "Blue Jacket," do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, 2 in number, marked —, on board of the vessel "Blue Jacket," Commander, J. White, Esq., now lying at Lyttelton, in the said Province, have not within three months last had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.
Declared before me at Lyttelton, this 11th day of November, 1866.—WILLIAM PALFREY, Inspector of Sheep.
