HIS Honor the Superintendent directs it to be notified that he has made the following Reserve, temporarily, under the 19th clause of the Waste Land Regulations:
No. 786, in red.—Four hundred and twenty acres, more or less, situate in the Ashburton District, being bounded on the north by the River Rakaia, on the east by a line in continuation of the eastern boundary of Reserve No. 173 (in red), on the south by that Reserve, the Homestead pre-emptive right on Run 90, by sections numbered 6127 and 6728, and on the west by Reserve No. 317 (in red), and by the before mentioned section No. 6127, subject nevertheless to the line of the Great South Road, and to the alternative line of that road—For Ferry purposes.

NOTICE is hereby given that in pursuance of six several Orders of the Supreme Court under the provisions of the above named Acts the estates of the undermentioned debtors have been sequestrated and vested in Henry Fowle Seager as Receiver and Monday the Twelfth day of November next is appointed for the hearing of the several petitions at the Court House Christchurch at eleven o’clock in the forenoon:

William Epthorp Samuels, of Gloucester Street, Christchurch, Painter, Plumber, and Glazier, and late of the White Horse Tavern, Tuam Street, Licensed Victualler.
John Stewart, of the Courtenay Arms Hotel, Felton Ferry, Waimakariri, Licensed Victualler.
William Henry Greenlee, of Tuam Street, and formerly of Colombo Street, Christchurch, Corn Chandler and Dealer in Hay and Straw.
David Marks, of Colombo Street, Christchurch, General Dealer.
NOTICE is also given that the hearing of the under-mentioned debtor is also appointed for the said Twelfth day of November next and that in the meantime the said debtor is protected from all legal process for debt; viz.—
