Christchurch, July 20, 1866.

HIS Honor the Superintendent directs it to be notified that he has appointed the undermentioned persons to be Inspectors of Slaughter-houses for the districts set opposite to their names:—

Sergeant Daniel Byrne — Goldsborough District.
Sergeant William Blane — Kanieri District.
Sergeant James McEnnis — Okarito District.
Sergeant Charles O’Donnel — Ross District.

With reference to the foregoing partnership notice, the business of Commission Agent, Land Valuer, Arbitrator, and Auctioneer, will be carried on by me at the Offices as hereinbefore.

In reference to the above advertisement, C. C. Aikman begs to intimate to his friends and the public, that he intends removing in a few days to those extensive premises adjoining Mr. John Anderson’s Foundry, in Cashel street, where he will continue to carry on the Auction and Commission business as heretofore. In the meantime he can be seen at Mr. W. Wilson’s buildings.

Account sales promptly rendered; rents collected; advances made on stock or goods placed in his hands for immediate sale.

PARTNERSHIP NOTICE.

NOTICE is hereby given that the partnership hitherto existing under the style or firm of “Aikman and Wilson,” carrying on the business of Auctioneers and Commission Agents, was dissolved on the Thirtieth day of June last past by effluxion of time.

All business debts due to Messrs. Aikman and Wilson, to be paid to Mr. J. E. Korr, at the Offices of the late firm, his receipt to be taken as a sufficient discharge for the same.
