(a) DECLARATION.—I, William Young of Auckland, do hereby solemnly declare, that the sheep, 51 in number, marked — now being on board of the vessel “Ladybird,” Kreeft, Commander, now lying at Lyttelton, in the said Province, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.

Declared before me, at Lyttelton, this 2nd day of March, 1866.—WILLIAM PALFREY, Inspector of Sheep.

(b) DECLARATION.—We, Miles and Co., of Lyttelton, do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, 42 in number, marked —, now on board the vessel “Queen,” from Napier, Thompson, Commander, now lying at Lyttelton, in the said Province, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and we make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.
