HIS Honor the Superintendent directs it to be notified that henceforth the Secretary for Public Works will be, ex officio, a Member of the Park and Domain Board.

HIS Honor the Superintendent directs it to be notified that he has made the following Reserve, temporarily, under the 19th clause of the Waste Land Regulations; viz.—

No. 198, in red.—Three thousand acres, more or less, situate in the Waipara District, being bounded on the north and east by the River Hurunui, on the south by the River Waitohi, and on the west by a due north and south line passing through the trigonometrical station forming the eastern extremity of the base line—For a quarantine ground for sheep.

In the matter of “The Debtors’ and Creditors’ Act Amendment Act, 1865;” and
In the matter of the Petition of John Byrne, of Hokitika, in the Province of Canterbury, Miner.

NOTICE is hereby given that, by order of His Honor Mr. Justice Gresson, bearing date the Fifth day of February, 1866, the estate of the abovenamed John Byrne was sequestrated, and protection from all legal process for debt granted to the said John Byrne, upon his petition previously filed in the Supreme Court at Hokitika, and the hearing of such petition was appointed to take place on Monday, the Thirtieth day of July next ensuing, at the Supreme Court House, Hokitika, in the said district, at eleven o’clock in the forenoon.

Dated at Hokitika, this Fifth day of February, 1866.
