No. 463, in red.—Ten acres three roods, more or less, situate at Kanieri township, West Canterbury, and known as Cobden’s quay, being bounded on the south-west by the Kanieri river, on the north-west by the continuation of the north-western side of Papanui street, on the south-east by the continuation of the south-eastern side of Kaiapoi street, and on the north-east by a line parallel to and two chains distant from the first described boundary—For the purposes of a public wharf.

No. 464, in red.—Three roods twenty-four perches, more or less, situate in the township of Kanieri, and being bounded on the south-west by Cobden’s quay, on the south-east by Camp street, on the north-west by a line parallel to that street and three chains distant from it, and on the north-east by Camp reserve—For police purposes.

No. 465, in red.—Nine acres three roods, more or less, situate in the township of Kanieri, being bounded on the south-east by Timaru street, on the south-west by Cobden’s quay, on the north-west by St. Albans street, and on the north-east by Rochfort street—As a site for Government buildings.

No. 631, in red.—All that tract of land three chains wide, extending from the southern boundary of section No. 3753 to the river Waitangi, the centre line of which commences at a point on the southern boundary of section No. 3753, situate about fourteen chains forty links from the southern corner of that section; thence following a line southerly which is pegged out upon the ground, and which crosses the banks of the following rivers at the undermentioned points, the intermediate angles and curves, being more particularly delineated and described on the railway plans and maps, viz.:

Crossing the southern bank of the Otaio, about thirty-three chains forty links east of trig. pole No. 21.

Crossing the south bank of the Makikihi, about forty-nine chains fifty links west of trig. pole No. 14.

Crossing the Waituna, about five chains east of the South road.

Crossing the north bank of the Waihau, about thirteen chains south-west of trig. pole No. 3.

Crossing the northernmost terrace of the Waitangi, about eighty-four chains fifty links south-west of trig. pole No. 29—The Great Southern Railway.

No. 632, in red.—All that tract of land three chains wide, the centre line of which commences at a point on the Great Southern Railway, situate at the peg marked ‘131 miles 10 chains,’ nearly opposite the lagoon; thence south-westerly, following a line in continuation of the last straight portion of the Great Southern Railway, a distance of two miles seventy-seven chains seventy-seven links; thence south-westerly following a curve of eighty chains radius, a distance of twenty-six chains thirty-three links; thence following a straight line south-westerly a distance of one mile sixty-three chains seventy-seven links to a point about two hundred and fifty-four chains fifty links west of trig. pole 30; thence southerly following a curve bending easterly of eighty chains radius, a distance of sixty-five chains eighty-eight links; and thence in a straight line to the Waitangi river—Alternative line of Great Southern Railway, near the Waitaki.

No. 633, in red.—Four acres, more or less, situate in the Waitangi district, commencing at a point on the south side of a road crossing the Great Southern Railway, distant about fifty-one chains fifty links south-west of the trig. pole 50; thence westerly following the said road a distance of five chains five links; thence southerly and parallel to the centre line of railway a distance of about twenty chains; thence easterly at a right angle a distance of five chains, and from thence returning to the commencing point—Reserve for railway purposes.

No. 634, in red.—Twenty-five acres, more or less, situate in the Waitangi district, bounded on the southward by section 6230; on the eastward by the reserve for the line of railway No. 631 (in red); on the westward by the South road; and on the northward by a line at right angles to the aforesaid reserve, so as to include the above quantity—For railway station.

No. 635, in red.—Five acres three roods, more or less, commencing at the junction of the South road with the reserve for Great Southern Railway, No. 631 (in red), following southerly along the said reserve a distance of thirty-two chains to a point opposite a peg marked 112 miles 60 chains; thence westerly at a right angle to the road before mentioned; and from thence returning along that road to the commencing point—Reserve for railway purposes.

No. 636, in red.—Four acres, more or less, situate in the Waitangi district, commencing at a point on the centre line of the Great Southern Railway (Reserve No. 631 in red), the said point being at 116 miles 15 chains; thence westerly, following a road a...
