No. 444, in red.—Two acres two roods thirty-five perches, more or less, situate in the town of Hokitika, being bounded on the north by Weld street, on the east by Brittan street, and on the west by Hall street, and on the south by Gibson’s quay.—For a public market place.

No. 445, in red.—Nine acres three roods twenty-four perches, more or less, situate in the town of Hokitika, being bounded on the north by Stafford street, on the east by Hoffman street, on the south by Weld street, and on the west by Cass street.—As a site for a public botanical garden.

No. 446, in red.—Twenty-three acres two roods, seven perches, more or less, situate in the town of Hokitika, being bounded on the north by Hampden street, on the east by the Town Belt east, on the south-east by Gibson’s quay, for a distance of four chains sixty-four links, on the south by reserve No. 447, for a distance of nine chains ninety-eight links, and on the west by Hoffman street.—For a cricket ground.

No. 447, in red.—Two acres two roods twenty-eight perches, more or less, situate in the town of Hokitika, being bounded on the south-east by Gibson’s quay, for a distance of twelve chains forty-one links, on the west by Livingstone street for a distance of seven chains thirty-six links, and on the north by reserve (in red) No. 446, for a distance of nine chains ninety-eight links.—For the uses of the United Church of England and Ireland.

No. 448, in red.—Two acres one rood twenty-two perches, more or less, situate in the town of Hokitika, being bounded on the north by Weld street, on the east by Livingstone street, on the south by Gibson’s quay, and on the west by Hoffman street.—For the uses of the Provincial Government, and particularly as a site for the residences of Government officers.

No. 450, in red.—Forty-seven acres one rood nineteen perches, more or less, situate in the town of Hokitika, being an island in the Hokitika river.—For a public common.

No. 451, in red.—Fifty-seven acres, more or less, situate at Hokitika, being bounded on the north and north-east by Gibson’s quay, and on the south and south-west by the River Hokitika.—For a public common.

No. 452, in red.—Two hundred and one acres, more or less, situate at Hokitika, being bounded on the north by a line in continuation of the northern boundary of the town of Hokitika, on the west by the eastern boundary of the said town, on the south by the Railway road, and on the east by Clogston road.—For a public park.

No. 453, in red.—Nine acres, more or less, situate in the town of Hokitika, being bounded on the north by the Town Belt north, on the east by Bealey street, on the south by Spencer street, and on the west by Fitzherbert street.—For a public cemetery.

No. 454, in red.—Nine acres, more or less, situate at Hokitika, having a frontage of nine chains to the Town Belt north, and extending back northerly a distance of ten chains in a rectangular block, being bounded on the west by Lanco road.—As a site for a gaol.

No. 455, in red.—Nine acres two roods, more or less, situate at Hokitika, commencing at the intersection of the Beach road and Buckland road, following the last mentioned road in an easterly direction a distance of ten chains; thence northerly, at a right angle, a distance of ten chains; thence westerly, at right angles, a distance of eight chains sixty-seven links to the Beach road before mentioned; and from thence returning along that road a distance of ten chains eight links to the commencing point.—As a site for a public abattoir.

No. 456, in red.—Ten acres one rood thirteen perches, more or less, situate at Hokitika, having a frontage of ten chains thirty-three links to the Town Belt north, and extending back northerly ten chains in a rectangular block east of and adjoining reserve (in red) No. 455.—For a public common.

No. 461, in red.—Two hundred and fifty acres, more or less, situate in the Malvern district, being bounded on the north by the Kowai river, on the east by the Waimakariri, and on the west and south by sections Nos. 4649 and 5177, and by road reserve.—For the uses of the Provincial Government, and for other public purposes, and particularly for a ferry.

No. 462, in red.—Two hundred and fifty acres, more or less, situate in the Oxford district, being bounded on the west by section No. 9087, on the south and east by the Waimakariri, and on the north by a line to contain the quantity required, being at right angles to the eastern boundary of the
