HIS Honor the Superintendent directs it to be notified that he has made the following Reserves, upon the recommendation of the Provincial Council, viz.:--

438 0 2 39 more or less Situate in the town of Hokitika, having three chains frontage to Tancred street, and extending back westerly at right angles, having a depth of 300 links on the north boundary, and 283 links on the south boundary, respectively, being bounded on the west by a straight line, and on the south by Hamilton street. For the uses of the Provincial Government, and particularly for Police purposes.
441 2 1 16 Situate in the town of Hokitika, being bounded on the west by Sewell street, on the south by Weld street, and on the north and north-east by FitzGerald-street. For the uses of the Roman Catholic Church.
449 2 3 24 more or less Situate in the town of Hokitika, being bounded on the north by Weld street, on the east by Hoffman street, on the south by Gibson’s Quay, and on the west by Jollie street, exclusive of sections 894 and 895. For the uses of the Provincial Government, and particularly as a site for the residences of Government officers.
469 1 0 17 more or less Situate in the township of Hokitika, bounded on the northward by Hampden street, on the eastward by Sewell street, and on the south west by FitzGerald street, being sections numbered 759, 760, 761, 762, 763, 764, 765, and 766, on the map of the Chief Surveyor setting out and describing the township of Hokitika aforesaid. For Presbyterian Church School.
470 0 3 0 more or less Situate in the township of Hokitika, having one chain frontage to the southern side of Park street, and being section No. 1488 on the map of the Chief Surveyor setting out and describing the said township. For schoolmaster’s residence.
471 0 2 20 more or less Situate in the township of Hokitika, having two chains fifty links frontage to the western side of Sewell street, and being sections Nos. 1448, 1449, 1450, 1451, and 1452 on the map of the Chief Surveyor setting out and describing the said township. For municipal purposes.
