HIS Honor the Superintendent directs it
to be notified that he has placed the
general management of Hagley Park, and
the superintendence of the works to be
carried on therein, under the Domain
Board; and that in future the Board will
be known as the "Park and Domain
Board."

In the Supreme Court of New Zealand,

CANTERBURY DISTRICT.

In the matter of "The Debtors’ and Creditors’ Act, 1862."

NOTICE is hereby given that, by Orders
of the Supreme Court in this district,
hearing dates severally as hereunder mentioned, the estates of the undermentioned
Debtors were sequestrated, and protection
from all legal process for debt granted to
the said Debtors upon their petitions previously filed in the said Court, and the
hearing of such petitions was appointed to
take place on Monday, the 18th day of
December next, at the Court House, Christchurch, in the said district, at eleven o’clock
in the forenoon:—

1865:

12th September—William Bastings, of
Hokitika, in the Province of Canterbury, in the Colony of New Zealand,
late Hotel-keeper, a debtor. Order
of sequestration, protection, and to
amend schedule; and

6th October—(On the filing of amendment) Order for hearing as above
named.

6th October—Frederick James Wilcooks, of Christchurch, in the said
Province, Solicitor.

13th October—John Hanker, of Whateley
Road, Christchurch aforesaid, Storekeeper and Cabinet-maker.

Also—

In the matter of "The Debtors’ and Creditors’ Act, 1862;" and

In the matter of "The Debtors’ and Creditors’ Act Amendment Act, 1865."

1865:

17th November—Alexander Farney, of
Christchurch aforesaid, Blacksmith.
