SHIP "TUDOR."
THE Immigration Commissioners report that every compartment of the vessel was very clean, and in perfect order.
The Immigrants expressed themselves in terms of great satisfaction at the attention and care they had received.
The Master and Surgeon must have most zealously performed their duties.
At an early period of the voyage a case of smallpox had occurred. Immediate isolation in the ship’s launch abreast the foremast, with careful fumigation of clothes, destruction of bedding, and separation of infected person and family for a prolonged period, prevented extension of the disease.
The Commissioners have great pleasure in recommending the Surgeon for continued engagement, and that all gratuities be paid.
Normandy’s distilling apparatus had worked satisfactorily throughout the voyage.
