In the Supreme Court of New Zealand,

CANTERBURY DISTRICT.

In the matter of “The Debtors’ and Creditors’ Act, 1862;” (Section 8.)

HIS Honor Henry Barnes Gresson, Esq., the Judge presiding in this Honorable Court, has appointed that the Court shall sit for the dispatch of business accruing under the provisions of the above-mentioned Act, at the Court House, Christchurch, on Wednesday, the Twentieth day of September next, at Eleven o’clock in the forenoon.

HIS Honor the Superintendent directs it to be notified that he has made the following Reserves, temporarily, under the 19th clause of the Waste Land Regulations; viz:—

No. 422, in red.—Fifteen acres, more or less, situate in the Bealey Town, commencing at a point on the western bank of the River Bealey, the same being one chain fifty links south-east of the south-eastern corner of section No. 32, thence westerly following a line parallel to and one chain distant from the southern boundary of that section a distance of ten chains seventy links, thence southerly at a right angle a distance of nine chains fifty links to the northern bank of the Waimakariri, following that bank in a south-easterly direction to the western bank of the River Bealey before-mentioned, and from thence returning along the same to the commencing point—for the uses of the Provincial Government, and other public purposes, and particularly for a ferry.

No. 423, in red.—One acre three roods, more or less, commencing at a point on the northern boundary of the Bealey Town where it is crossed by the eastern side of the West Coast road, following that road in a northerly direction a distance of eight chains, thence easterly at a right angle a distance of two chains thence southerly again at a right angle a distance of nine chains sixty links to the boundary before-mentioned, and from thence returning along the same to the commencing point.
