And take notice that, by an order bearing date the Thirteenth day of January instant, Wednesday, the Fifteenth day of February next, was appointed for the hearing of the petition of Noah Edgar, now a prisoner for debt in the public gaol at Lyttelton, previously of Christchurch, in the said district, Tailor, a debtor.

NOTICE is hereby given that, in pursuance of four several orders of the Court bearing date severally the Fifteenth day of November last, and of an order of the Court bearing date the Eighteenth day of November last, the further hearing of the petitions of the undermentioned debtors will take place at the Court House, Christchurch, on Wednesday, the Fifteenth day of February next, at eleven o’clock in the forenoon:—

Alexander Duncan, of Avonside, in the Province of Canterbury, Labourer.

Guy Stephen Secord, of the Rakaia, in the said Province, Carrier.

James Henry Bryant, of Christchurch aforesaid, Labourer.

Thomas Woolman Anderson, of the Ferry Road, Christchurch aforesaid, Painter.

Osborne George Osborne, of Christchurch aforesaid, Reporter.

NOTICE is hereby given that, by an order of His Honor Henry Barnes Gresson, Esq., Judge, made in Chambers on the Eighth of November last, the petition of William Kissil, of Lichfield-street, Christchurch, and previously of Cashel-street, Saddler, for the sequestration of his estate, and for protection from legal process, will be heard at the Court House, Christchurch, on Wednesday, the Fifteenth day of February next, at eleven o’clock in the forenoon: And notice is hereby given that, by the several orders made on the days herein under written, the estates of the under-mentioned debtors were sequestrated, and Henry Fowle Seager, of Christchurch, printer, was appointed Receiver, and Wednesday, the Fifteenth day of February next, was appointed for the hearing of the petitions of such debtors at the Court House, Christchurch, at eleven o’clock in the forenoon:—

1864:
18th November—Thomas Steadman, of Woodend, in the Province of Canterbury, Miller, in co-partnership with Charles Paddock, trading at the Mandeville Mills, Woodend aforesaid, under the name or firm of "Steadman and Paddock."

18th November—Benjamin Napthali Jones, of the Lyttelton Hotel, Christchurch, Licensed Victualler.

9th December—Frank Guinness, of Akaroa, in the Province of Canterbury, Inspector of Police, and formerly of Christchurch, Commission Agent.

23rd December—Charles Berjew Fooks, of Lyttelton, in the Province of Canterbury, Merchant, and formerly of Avonside, in the said Province, Farmer.

23rd December—Wentworth George Trask, of Christchurch, out of business, previously of Nelson, before then of Wanganui, in the Province of Wellington, and formerly of Christchurch, Butcher.

Also by an order of the Fifteenth day of November, 1864, the estate of John Brown Binley, of Timaru, in the Province of Canterbury, Soda Water Manufacturer, but formerly of Brown’s Bridge, South Sefton District, in the said Province, Licensed Victualler, was sequestrated, and Mr. William Massey, of Timaru, was appointed Receiver, and Wednesday, the Fifteenth day of February, 1865, was appointed for the hearing of the said petition at the Court House, Christchurch, at eleven o’clock in the forenoon.
