PUBLIC NOTICE.

His Honor the Superintendent directs it to be notified for general information, that the streets and public reserves in the proposed township of Leeston having been conveyed to the Superintendent, the blocks of land herein-after described will be marked on the maps of the Chief Surveyor as the “Township of Leeston,”

In two blocks of land, being part of section 5787.

Block No. 1, commencing at the intersection of the north-western side of the road, passing through said section by the eastern side of the road, forming the south-western boundary of the same section, following northerly along the latter road a distance of thirty-five chains three links; thence easterly at a right angle a distance of twenty-one chains ninety-seven links to the north-eastern boundary of the aforesaid section 5787, following south-easterly along that boundary a distance of fifteen chains eighty-eight links to the road first above-mentioned, and from thence returning along that road a distance of forty-two chains twenty links to the commencing point.

Block No. 2, commencing at the intersection of the eastern side of the road forming the south-western boundary of said section, by the south-eastern side of the road passing through the same; thence north-easterly, following along the latter road a distance of forty-two chains seventy-seven links to the north-eastern boundary of the aforesaid section; thence south-easterly along the said boundary a distance of six chains eighteen links; thence south-westerly, following a line parallel to the first described boundary a distance of forty-two chains seventy-seven links to the road first mentioned, and from thence, returning along that road, to the commencing point.

IN THE SUPREME COURT OF NEW ZEALAND,
CANTERBURY DISTRICT.

In the matter of “The Debtors’ and Creditors’ Act, 1862.”

NOTICE is hereby given that, in pursuance of the several orders bearing the dates herein-after mentioned, the several estates of the under-mentioned debtors were sequestrated, and Henry Fowle Seager, of Christchurch, printer, appointed Receiver to such estates, and Wednesday, the Fifteenth day of February next, was appointed for the hearing of the several petitions at the Court House, Christchurch :

1864:

11th November—Thomas Wyman, of Lyttelton, in the said district, Board and Lodging House Keeper.
