measuring ten acres in extent, which said parcel of land comprises a certain Bush known heretofore as the "Bois des Montoniers." Notice is hereby given that I will hear the above-mentioned claim, at twelve o’clock, on the First day of August next, at the office of Messrs. Harman and Stevens, Hereford Street, Christchurch, at which time and place all persons having counter claims must attend and produce their evidence of the same.

SUPREME COURT OF NEW ZEALAND,

In the matter of "The Debtors’ and Creditors’ Act, 1862;" and

In the matter of the estate of Edwin Bennet, a debtor; and

In the matter of the petition of the said debtor.

At a sitting of the Court under the Act, the Fifteenth day of May, 1865.

UPON the application of Mr. Slater of Counsel for the said debtor after reading the Order of Sequestration herein of the third day of February last past and the affidavit of Henry Byers Jeffries filed on the Fifteenth day of May instant and upon the examination upon oath of the said debtor it is ordered that the hearing of the said petition be adjourned until Wednesday the Fifth day of July next at eleven o’clock in the forenoon And this Court doth further order that before the said Fifth day of July next a meeting of creditors shall be convened for the purpose of recommending to the Court a person or persons to act as Trustee or Trustees of the said debtor’s estate.

NOTICE is hereby given that by an order of the Court, made on the Third day of February, One thousand eight hundred and sixty-five, the estate and effects of the above named debtor were sequestrated, and Henry Fowle Seager of Christchurch, printer, was appointed Receiver to the said estate: And the Court further granted an ad interim order of protection, to protect the person and property of the said Henry Edward Tyson, from all legal process for debt: And at a sitting of the Court held on the Fifteenth day of May, One thousand eight hundred and sixty-five, the hearing of the petition of the said debtor was adjourned to Wednesday the Fifth day of July next, at the Court House, Christchurch, at eleven o’clock in the forenoon.
