(a) DECLARATION.—I, Edward Mitchell, of Christchurch, do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, 50 in number, marked —, now on board of the vessel “Phoebe,” E. Wheeler, Commander, now lying at Port Lyttelton, in the said Province, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.
Declared before me at Lyttelton, this 5th day of March, 1865.—WILLIAM PALFREY, Inspector of Sheep.
(b) DECLARATION.—I, J. R. Hill, of Christchurch, do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, five in number, marked —, now on board of the vessel “Wild Wave,” Vandervord, Commander, now lying at Port Lyttelton, in the said Province, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.
Declared before me at Lyttelton, this 7th day of March, 1865.—WILLIAM PALFREY, Inspector of Sheep.
(c) DECLARATION.—I, Mark Sprot (by Burnell, Bennett, and Sprot), of Christchurch, do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, eight in number, marked —, now on board of the vessel “Rachel,” Brodie, Commander, now lying at Port Lyttelton, in the said Province, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.
Declared before me at Lyttelton, this 27th day of March, 1865.—WILLIAM PALFREY, Inspector of Sheep.
