(a) DECLARATION.--I, J. T. Brown, of Mount Thomas, Ashley, do hereby solemnly declare that I have made a complete muster of all the Sheep in my charge, and that my Sheep, branded --, being 2,300 in number, now being at Mount Thomas, have not within two months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor within two months been mixed with any Sheep infected with scab or catarrh, and I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true.

Declared before me at Mount Thomas, this 3rd day of March, 1865.--H. RAMSAY SCARVELL, Inspector of Sheep.

(b) DECLARATION.--I, William Amos, of Highfield, do hereby solemnly declare that the Sheep, 828 in number, marked --, now being depastured by me at the North Bank of the Hurunui, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any Sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true.

WILLIAM AMOS.

Declared before me at Hastie’s, this 14th day of March, 1865.--H. RAMSAY SCARVELL, Inspector of Sheep.

(c) DECLARATION.--I, J. D. Lance, of Heathstock, do hereby solemnly declare that I have made a complete muster of all the Sheep, in my charge, and that Sheep, branded --, being 21,000 in number, now being at Horsley Downs, Hurunui, have not within two months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor within two months been mixed with any Sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.

(d) DECLARATION.--I, William Rutherford, of Addington, Amuri, do hereby solemnly declare that the Sheep, 800 in number, marked --, now being depastured by me at the North Bank of the Hurunui, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any Sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.

WM. RUTHERFORD.

Declared before me at Hastie’s, this 15th day of March, 1865.--H. RAMSAY SCARVELL, Inspector of Sheep.

(e) DECLARATION.--I, William Davidson, of Christchurch, do hereby solemnly declare that the Sheep, 2,000 in number, marked --, now being depastured by me at the North Bank of the Hurunui, have not within the three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any Sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.

Declared before me at Hastie’s, this 31st day of March, 1865.--H. RAMSAY SCARVELL, Inspector of Sheep.

(f) DECLARATION.--I, Edward Garrow, of Rookeby, do hereby solemnly declare that I have made a complete muster of all the Sheep in my charge, and that my Sheep, branded --, being 12,000 in number, now being at Rookeby, have not within two months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor within two months been mixed with any Sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.

EDWARD GARROW.

Declared before me at Rookeby, this 7th day of March, 1865.--P. B. BOULTON, Chief Inspector of Sheep.

(g) DECLARATION.--I, W. C. Smith, of Oamaru, do hereby solemnly declare that the Sheep, 7,900 in number, marked --, now being depastured by me at Waitangi, Otago, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any Sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.

WM. CUNNINGHAM SMITH.

Declared before me at Mackay’s Ferry, this 3rd day of March, 1865.--ANDREW PATERSON, Inspector of Sheep.

(h) DECLARATION.--I, C. H. Dowding, of Waimate, do hereby solemnly declare that the Sheep, 400 in number, marked --, now being depastured by me at Waitangi, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any Sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.
