NOTICE is hereby given that, in pursuance of the several orders bearing the dates hereinafter mentioned, the several estates of the under-mentioned debtors were sequestrated, and Henry Fowle Seager, of Christchurch, printer, was appointed Receiver to such estates, and Tuesday, the Fifteenth day of November next, was appointed for the hearing of the several petitions, at the Court House, Christchurch, at eleven o’clock in the forenoon:—

18th September—Hyman Joseph, of Christchurch, fancy warehouseman, formerly of the Otago Diggings, storekeeper and auctioneer.
27th September—Samuel Williams, of the Timaru Hotel, Timaru, licensed victualler.
30th September—James Rule, of Christchurch, veterinary surgeon, formerly in copartnership with Thomas Gorthorn Rule, trading under the name or style of “Rule, Brothers,” as livery stable keepers, blacksmiths, and veterinary surgeons.
7th October—James Williams, of Lyttelton, builder.
7th October—Henry Sheeres, of Lyttelton, and previously of Christchurch, a Lodging-house Keeper, formerly of Kaiapoi, nurseryman.
18th September—William Fisher, accountant and solicitor’s clerk.
