CUSTOMS’ NOTICE.
Custom House, Lyttelton,
January 13, 1864.
NOTICE is hereby given, that the undermentioned Building has been duly approved and appointed, in accordance with the 11th section of the "Customs Regulations Act, 1858," to be a warehouse for the securing of goods under bond for the payment of Duties of Customs:—
The whole of a stone building belonging to and now occupied by Messrs. M’Lean, Thiel, and Mytton, of Christchurch, Merchants, and newly erected by them on parts of Christchurch Town Sections, numbered respectively 1145 and 1147 on the Map of the Chief Surveyor of Canterbury, and fronting on Tuam Street, near the Ferry Road.

A wooden building, owned, occupied, and recently built by Mr. Edward Circuit Latter, and fronting on Church Street, near the Government Jetty, in the town of Akaroa.

The General Assembly has appropriated, out of the Colonial Revenue for this year, the sum of Two thousand Pounds (£2,000), towards a Patriotic Fund for the support of the wives and families of those of Her Majesty’s Regular and Colonial Forces who have fallen and may hereafter fall in the course of the present war in this colony.
