No. 338, in red.—Ten acres, more or less,
situate in the Lincoln district, com-
mencing at the intersection of the
Weeden and Springs roads, with the
road to the Selwyn, following south-
westerly; along the latter road a
distance of ten chains; and extending
back north-westerly ten chains in a
rectangular block, being bounded on
the north-west by section 4628, and
on the south-west by section 4296—for
a gravel-pit.

No. 339, in red.—Ten acres, more or less,
situate in the upper Christchurch
district, commencing at a point on
Bealey’s road, the same being five
chains and thirty links south-west of
the south-western corner of section
6469; following along the said road
in a south-westerly direction a dis-
tance of ten chains; and extending
back north-westerly ten chains in a
rectangular block—for a gravel-pit.

No. 340, in red.—Ten acres, more or less,
situate in the upper Christchurch
district, being bounded on the north-
west by the road west of section No.
6294 a distance of eight chains fifty
links; on the south-west by a line at
right angles to that road a distance
of ten chains; on the north-east by
the Coal road; and on the south-east

by a line parallel to the first-described
boundary; to contain the quantity
required—for a gravel pit.

No. 341, in red.—Ten acres, more or less,
situate in the upper Christchurch dis-
trict, about forty-eight chains south-
west of the south-eastern corner of
section 3743; having frontage of ten
chains to the Homebush road; and
extending back south-easterly ten
chains in a rectangular block—for a
gravel-pit.

No. 342, in red.—Ten acres, more or less,
situate in the upper Christchurch
district, being bounded on the north-
west by the Coal road; deviation on
the south by the Coal road; and on
the north-east by a line at right
angles to that road; to contain the
quantity required—for a gravel-pit.

No. 343, in red.—Eighteen and a half
acres, more or less, situate in the Lin-
coln District, bounded on the north-
east by section 2921, on the south-
east by section 3041, on the north-
west by sections 2905 and 3581, and
on the south-west by the Lincoln and
Coal Tramway Road—for a gravel-
pit.

of George Lumley and Charles John
Martin, lately carrying on business at
Christchurch, in the said district, as
Tobacconists, in co-partnership under
the style or firm of “Lumley and
Martin;” and
In the matter of the Petition of Edward
Allen Hargreaves and William Harry
Hargreaves, of Lyttelton, in the said
district, Merchants, carrying on busi-
ness in co-partnership under the style
or firm of “Hargreaves and Co.,”
creditors.

At a sitting of the said Court pursuant to
the said Act.

Monday, the Fifteenth day of February,
1864.

UPON reading the order made the Fif-
teenth day of December last past, and
upon examination of the above-named
Charles John Martin, pursuant to the said
Act; and upon hearing Mr. Slater of Counsel
for the said debtors, and Mr. Travers
of Counsel for the said petitioners; this
Court doth declare that the following per-
sons have proved their debts or claims,
namely,
