has resigned his Seat in the Provincial Council as Member for the Town of Kaiapoi.

Mr. George Turner,
late Clerk in the Provincial Secretary’s Office, has been transferred to the Office of the Secretary for Public Works.

His Honor the Superintendent directs it to be notified that he has been pleased to appoint

James Reston
to be Gaoler at the Gaol, Lyttelton, in the room of Edward William Seager, resigned.

NOTICE

Notice is hereby given, that the partnership lately subsisting between us, the undersigned, James George Baker and Charles Bowker, of Cashel-street, in the city of Christchurch, as Law and General Stationers, under the style or firm of “J. G. Baker and Co.,” has been this day dissolved by mutual consent.

The business will in future be carried on by the said James George Baker, who will receive all monies and pay all debts owing to or by the said firm.
