Joshua Strange Williams, Esq.,
has been duly elected.

HIS Honor the Superintendent directs the publication of the following terms for the supply of Telegraph Poles:
W.M. DavidsON—1500 Totara Poles, delivered along the line of railway reserve within six months of signing contract, at £3 per pole.
Hill and Lee—Poles for section 5, from Pareora to Waitangi, delivered in lots of ten poles, at intervals of a mile, within six months of signing contract, at £2 per pole.
W. B. Jones—Poles for section 5, from Pareora to Waitangi, Black Pine and Totara, delivered in lots of ten, at intervals of a mile, at the rate of twenty per week, at £1 18s. per pole. Accepted.
