DECLARATION.—I, John Clervaux Chaytor, of Kekerangu, do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, 3460 in number, marked O on shoulder, now being depastured by me at the Hurunui, in the Nelson Province, have not within the last three months past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh, and I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true.

JAMES MELDRUM, Inspector of Sheep.

CERTIFICATE OF INSPECTOR.—I, James Meldrum, Inspector of Sheep, hereby certify that I have carefully examined 3460 sheep branded O, the property of J. D. Tetley, now being depastured at the Hurunui, in the Nelson Province, and that I find such sheep entirely free from scab or catarrh.

Given under my hand, at Hastie’s, this 2nd day of March, 1863.

DECLARATION.—I, Thomas Bruce, of Motunau, do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, 3700 in number, marked M.3, now being depastured by me on the North side of the Hurunui, in the Nelson Province, have not within the last three months past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh, and I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true.

CERTIFICATE OF INSPECTOR.—I, Philip Baker Boulton, Inspector of Sheep, hereby certify that I have carefully examined 3700 sheep branded M.3, the property of Thomas Bruce, now being depastured on the North bank of the Hurunui, and that I find such sheep entirely free from scab or catarrh.

Given under my hand, at Hastie’s, this 8th day of March, 1863.

DECLARATION.—We, Place and Innes, of Mount Brown, do hereby solemnly declare that our sheep, 7000 in number, branded double diamond, now being depastured at Mount Brown, have not within the last three months been subjected to any dressing for the cure of scab, nor within the last three months been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh, and we make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true.

PLACE AND INNES.

Declared before me, at Mount Brown, this 9th day of February, 1863.

CERTIFICATE OF INSPECTOR.—I, Philip Baker Boulton, Inspector of Sheep, hereby certify that I have carefully examined 7000 sheep, branded double diamond, the property of Place and Innes, now being depastured at Mount Brown, and that I find such sheep entirely free from scab or catarrh.

Given under my hand, at Mount Brown, this 9th day of February, 1863.

DECLARATION.—I, George Douglas, of Broomfield, do hereby solemnly declare that my sheep, 2500 in number, branded G.D., now being at Broomfield, have not within the last two months been subjected to any dressing for the cure of the scab, nor within two months been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh, and I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true.

CERTIFICATE OF INSPECTOR.—I, Philip Baker Boulton, Inspector of Sheep, hereby certify that I have carefully examined 2500 sheep, branded G.D., the property of George Douglas, now being depastured at Broomfield, and that I find such sheep entirely free from scab or catarrh.

Given under my hand, at Broomfield, this 9th day of February, 1863.

DECLARATION.—I, John George Shrimpton, of Sandford Downs, do hereby solemnly declare that my sheep, 750 in number, marked S, now being depastured by me on the North bank of the Hurunui, in the Nelson Province, have not within the last three months past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh, and I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true.
