HIS Honor the Superintendent directs it to be notified, for public information, that in pursuance of the powers vested in him by Clause 19 of the Waste Lands Regulations now in force within the Province of Canterbury, he has made the following Reserves of Land for public purposes, temporarily, until the next Session of the Provincial Council :-

No. 271, in red, 640 acres, having one mile frontage to the sea, and one mile to the north bank of river Hokitaki, and situate on the West Coast.

No. 272, in red, 640 acres, having one mile frontage to the sea, and one mile to the south bank of river Hokitaki, and situate on the West Coast.

TENDERS are invited by the Provincial Government for the Conveyance of Immigrants and their Baggage from Lyttelton to Christchurch.

The Luggage to be delivered at the Immigration Barracks in Christchurch without delay after arrival of each Ship.

Tenders to distinguish between the portion of carriage by water and that by land, must be sent in to the Provincial Secretary’s Office not later than Noon, on Saturday, the 25th instant.

PUBLIC NOTICE.

Land Office, Christchurch,
1st April, 1863.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Commissioners of the Waste Lands Board will sit at the Land Office, Christchurch, on FRIDAY, the 1st day of MAY next, at 10 a.m., to receive Pasturage License Fees under the Land Regulations of 1st April, 1856.

By Clause 51 of the Amended Land Regulations, Pasturage License Fees may be paid at any sitting of the Board between the 20th of April and the 1st of May.
